Roof Project Update

People who aren’t members of our church have come out to help us on weekends with some of our priority maintenance projects, such as Riley Sibbach (left) who joined church member Barry Miller in replacing snow clips on the roof. Though church member Sirouj Khachatourian does construction all week, he drove from Shoshone on a few Sundays to help with the siding replacement project on the south-facing exterior wall. His smile might be familiar to you since he was the professionally trained chef instructor for our “Hummus 101” class on healthy recipes.

John Hall reported that many of the volunteers said “Why is this so much more fun than work?!“ God really blessed the time spent together to make the church building a safe place for all our ministry activities that go on all year round, including the overnight shelter we provide for those who need emergency lodging for a night or two. We’ll be working on these tasks for a few more weeks, so you are welcome to join us at 9 am on Sundays.
